Ranch Oyster Crackers

It's Superbowl week! Let's make some tasty treats for your big Superbowl bash!

Who's it going to be? The Pittsburgh Steelers or The Green Bay Packers?  We have to wait until Sunday for that answer so until then let's talk food.  When I hear Superbowl party I think yummy appetizers! Let's start off by making a quick, easy, addicting snack that your guests can munch on all night long!

Ranch Oyster Crackers have been around for a long time. I can remember trying them years ago. They are crunchy, salty, zesty and super easy to make. Chances are you are going to be making a lot of food for your big party so why not start with something that can be made ahead and only has 3 ingredients.  These crackers can be made start to finish in about 30 min.  Good luck trying not to eat the whole bowl before your guests arrive!

Ranch Oyster Crackers

5 C. of mini Oyster Crackers (approx. 14 oz.)
2/3 C. Olive Oil
1 Packet of Hidden Valley Ranch Dip Mix (1 oz.)

Preheat the oven to 250 degrees

Place crackers in a bowl. Drizzle olive oil over the crackers and toss to coat.

Once the crackers are coated, sprinkle the dry ranch dip onto the crackers and toss until evenly coated.

Spread the crackers on a baking sheet in an even layer.  Place in the oven for 10 minutes.  After 10 minutes is up, remove from oven and toss again.  Spread the crackers back into an even layer and cook for another 10 minutes.

Remove from the oven and let cool.  The crackers can be served warm but taste great at any temperature.  If you make these ahead let the crackers cool completely and store in an air tight container until ready to serve.

3 ingredients! What could be easier?
Pour on olive oil.  Toss to coat.
Let's add some more flavor....
In just 20 short minutes these will be ready to eat!
Enjoy the game!
